CareMonkey Turns 3

Message from CEO Troy Westley

Today CareMonkey turns 3 years old.

CareMonkey started as an idea to share sensitive life saving information. Since then we have become a trusted system used by schools, universities, sporting organisations, scouts, camps, businesses, youth and church groups and the disability sector.

Our first customers were all in our home state of Victoria, but we’re now providing the CareMonkey system in every state and territory of Australia and all over the world including United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, UAE, Kazakhstan and Philippines.

It’s been an exciting journey so far and I’m so grateful to be a part of it. I’ve never worked this hard and yet had so much energy. It’s easy to come to work because we’re doing great things, and the many stories of where CareMonkey has come to rescue in an emergency makes the early mornings and late nights worth it.

In the last year, we saw CareMonkey grow from a start-up, to an established leader in Emergency Health and Safety. We’ve helped our customers fulfil their duty of care obligations and also saved them from a lot of paperwork in the process. However, there’s still a lot to do, many more things to build and make better, processes to improve, offices to open, sales to make, services to deliver, partnerships to be forged and new lessons to learn. It’s exciting.

Now that we’re 3, I want to thank those who took the first steps with Martin and I. Our awesome team who have helped us grow into something special. The many partners who have helped us grow faster than we could have by ourselves. Most of all, I want to thank our amazing customers, for taking a punt on a new idea, and also for the massive amount of ideas you have given us to add as new features. It has made the product so much better and more useful to everybody. Thank you!
